An estimated 3 BILLION PEOPLE watched LIVE 8 the greatest, greatest show on Earth....
THE CONCERT
They came together with one message - make poverty history.
150 bands and 1250 musicians played across the globe to ask people not to give us their money, but to give us their names.
THE CAMPAIGN
Over 30 million people from all around the world gave us their names for the live8 list which was presented to Tony Blair, as chair of the G8, by representatives of LIVE 8 and the global call to action against poverty .
We couldn't have made it clearer that we expect the politicians of this generation to end the scandal of stupid, immoral poverty.
